| The Norwalk High School Fathers Club Organization of Fathers, Mothers and Guardians The Fathers Club is a parent service organization made up of dedicated fathers, mothers, and guardians of NHS students, and a dedicated group of alumni parents. The Fathers Club is Norwalk High School’s oldest parent group. Founded in 1945, the Fathers Club has been raising money for under-funded, non-budgeted school activities and supplies for over 60 years. To raise money, the Fathers Club sells refreshments at home football games in the fall and at basketball games in the winter. In the recent past, we purchased a digital camera and printer for the social studies department, a laptop computer and multi-media projector and cart for the art department, and a document viewer for the library. We also funded bus costs for the poetry contest, purchased new speakers for the auditorium, and helped fund the purchase of new uniforms for the sports teams. Each May we award several a scholarship to a graduating senior. Membership is open to all NHS families. To join, just fill out the membership form and mail it to NHS Fathers Club, c/o Norwalk High, 23 Calvin Murphy Drive, Norwalk, CT 06851. We hope to see you at our next meeting. Meetings are held on the third Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. in the Norwalk High School library and usually last an hour. We do not hold a meeting in December.
